MTS Nandavanam

MTS Nandavanam

Sri Meenakshi Temple’s Nandavanam is one of the most cherished and vibrant areas of our temple campus. This sacred garden provides a continuous supply of fresh flowers, vegetables, fruits, banana leaves, and many other seasonal offerings used in daily Nithya Puja and temple rituals.

The Nandavanam is lovingly maintained by our dedicated devotees, with support from temple staff. It has become a popular and joyful seva opportunity for families. Devotees of all ages come together every week to work in the garden, creating a true spirit of community. Children especially enjoy gardening activities—learning, playing, and participating in temple service with great enthusiasm.

The vegetables grown in our Nandavanam are completely fresh, organic, and harvested weekly. They have become extremely popular among devotees, and the newly harvested produce often sells out quickly every weekend.

The Nandavanam stands as a symbol of devotion, teamwork, and sustainability—where every plant grown becomes an offering to our Divine Mother.
